EASY WALKS - IDEAL FOR FAMILIES WITH SMALL CHILDREN
1. Corvara - Pisciadù waterfalls (2.00 hours approx. round trip).
Departing from the station downstream from the Boè cabin lift that leads into the Borest forest. You will then take the route of the same name that climbs gently up to Rio Pisciadù. From the entrance to Val Mezdi you must proceed along the marked out trail until you reach a vast clearing in front of the waterfalls. On the return journey it is advisable to take the trail that crosses the flatland fields of Rön and that comes out near the Luianta Hotel. You must than proceed along the trail until reaching Corvara.
2. Corvara-Pescosta - Colfosco (40 min. approx).
From the centre of Corvara you must go down towards the Hotel Col Alto, you must deviate towards the left, reaching the locality of Pescosta. You must take the communal road that crosses the residential area and goes uphill in the direction of the Hotel Sassongher. Just a little before the Hotel you must deviate towards the left in the direction of the farmsteads of Merscia and Costa. The trail comes out near the parish church of Colfosco.
3. Corvara - Col Alto - Pralongià (1.00 - 3.00 hours approx.).
From Corvara you must go uphill by foot or in the chairlift to Col Alto or to Pralongià (from the golf course). The vast meadows and pastures offer infinite possibilities for walks in a spectacular countryside due to its beauty and varying aspects. The circular panorama that can be seen from over the whole plateau is one of the most beautiful characteristics of the Dolomites.
