Educational nature trail San Cassiano-Rudiferia
The educational nature trail "Larch Trail" leads through larch forests and alpine pastures at the bottom of the Fanes-Senes-Braies nature park between the villages of Rü and Rudiferia. At the Rudiferia farm you can admire a characteristic water mill, which was only recently constructed. In addition to the beautiful landscape, during this hike you can also view objects, which were built by man in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature, like the characteristic fences, drywalls, and the already mentioned water mill. Along the path you can read various signs with information about some plants and bushes, and information about the flora, fauna and geology of the area. The sign-posted educational path from Rü to Rudiferia is flat and easy. The path is about 1.5 km long and can be done in about 30 minutes. You can also reach this path from the villages of Glira and Armentarola.
Meditation trail "Klaus e Dorothea von der Flüe"
The meditation trail leads from the village of Sarè to the "Sass Dlacia" chapel. This easy trail was realised in 2003 and is about 1 km long. Along the way you can admire symbolic statues and signs with aphorisms, quotations and prayers. The aim of this trail is to provide peace and serenity for those who walk on this path amidst the splendid Dolomite scenery.
